For me a Windows Smartphone has always been the mobile phone of choice.
I have had a couple of Orange SPV C600s for over 2 years now as IMO no decent replacement has ever been released.
The phone runs my diary, has an excellent text-messaging (SMS) system, is great for web browsing and best of all with a large memory card it carries a substantial amount of music.
Recently however, HTC, the company who make the C600 released 2 very interesting models. The HTC Touch and, announced yesterday the HTC Touch Dual.
First of all, the HTC Touch:

This one is not really my cup of tea. Its sort of an iPhone-type design but with a few buttons.
The problem is, like the iPhone, it has NO number pad.
I just can’t imagine life without a number pad? Text-messaging would surely be impossible? Also ‘On Screen Keyboards’ are a terrible bind and I can imagine a crap load of errors productivity slow-downs using a stylus to type or write in text.
As luck would have it HTC seem to have worked out that there would be some users like me who wouldn’t want a purely-touch-powered phone.
So they came up with the HTC Touch Dual:

Its basically the ‘Touch’ model with a slightly smaller screen and a drop down number pad.
Also, it has the same set of snazzy features:
