Bad news:

Paul Hunter has died at the age of 27 after a battle with cancer.

I was never a massive fan of Paul as a player but his tenacity to play tournament Snooker while obviously in pain has to be applauded.

Before he became ill he had ‘Word Champion’ written all over him, sadly this was never meant to be.

So long Paul, I suppose Plan B didn’t work this time!
