As previously noted my broadband connection with Be has been playing up lately.

I wrote many support tickets to Be detailing how I belived it was a fault with the router they had sent me, the ‘bebox’.
So, yesterday a new bebox arrived.

I have yet to set up and test the new device but I can at least applaud Be’s customer services for responding in such a pro-active manner. Read the rest of this entry…

After my unfortunate time without broadband a few months ago (skybroadbanned.com) I was lucky enough to get back online with Be, the 24mb broadband providers.
Sadly, after just over a month of being with Be I can only report that their service has been quite terrible.
1, 2, 3, 4, 5….
I can count 5 times in the past 30 days when I have been without a connection for over 24 hours. 2 of these were due to planned outages but the other times have had no warning or explanation?

Is Yahoo! worth $50b to Microsoft??

Of course.
And its nothing to do with Yahoo! search, the millions of Yahoo! members or their unrivalled web pedigree.
Some people may forget that Yahoo! own 2 of the most popular web movements in recent years, Flickr and del.icio.us
These, along with a few other choice assets (Kelkoo, Konfabulator, See Wikipedia for more) surely make Yahoo! a $50b bargain!

Today I wanted to write about how I failed my driving test.

I planned on writing lines of text explaining my thoughts and feelings linked to the failure and detail how the physical test made me feel as a first timer at the grand old age of 28.
In the end I decided this was futile so I write this now, just to say, I failed. It wasn’t a bad fail, I made a single error and it cost me deer. That sadly is how the driving test works in the modern age.
So I sit today in a thoughtful state, wallowing in failure and with a hint of regret, pondering when to book in for my next test.
