If you think Nero is too bloated or just don’t have any money for CD-R software. I would highly recommend burnatonce.

Unlike other free CD-R software this one actually works. I was able to copy a CD burn an image and rip a CD to an ISO with no problems.

Mac XP

As elegant as it gets
Boot Camp lets you install Windows XP without moving your Mac data, though you will need to bring your own copy to the table, as Apple Computer does not sell or support Microsoft Windows.(1) Boot Camp will burn a CD of all the required drivers for Windows so you don’t have to scrounge around the Internet looking for them.

Recently I discovered that I would have to move from a Cable TV/Broadband solution towards Satellite TV and ADSL. So the past few weeks I have been researching the different options available to me.

There is really only ONE satellite TV provider in the UK – Sky.

It seems the package that will suit my needs best will cost around £36 a month. For this price I finally get access to the sports package which will save endless trips to the pub during football-laden weekends (maybe). I’m happy to pay this, but there is a problem. The Origami Project from Microsoft has hit web headlines in a massive way recently. Digg, for example, went into a hyper-sooper-hype mode with stories appearing on the homepage every few hours. People had so many questions. As did I.

  • What is Origami?
  • What will it look like?
  • How much will it cost?
  • Will it play Xbox Games?
  • Will it finally be the iPod killer Microsoft have been touting?

Some cool looking mock ups were leaked, my favorite being this one:

“WOW!” I thought. A mini-tablet PC. Not much bigger than a PSP but running a fully blown version of Windows XP. Who wouldnt want that?
